Baby (45) is a member of Bala Murugan group. Assisted by her husband she sells vegetables in the village. She procures a range of vegetables and keeps a margin of 20- 25 %. She earns a net profit of Rs 860 per day.

Balamurugan group was started in October 2004 . They have got bank loan twice –Rs 25,000 and Rs 90,000. The group has taken project loan of Rs 3000 for education of girls children. For 5 students the group got LIC scholarship of Rs 6,000. For group development Govt has given a grant of Rs 750.
