Kavitha, daughter of Krishnaveni (40) an SHG member in Bharathiar group in Nalur village, is one of the five children . The member got a loan of Rs 5000 which she used for buying a sewing machine for Kavitha. She does not get enough work in the village , but earns Rs 1500 net income per month. However during festival seasons she gets more income.

There are two groups in the village with 36 members , all from dalit community. Both groups have so for secured bank loan of Rs 8.60 lakh which include govt grant of Rs 1.95 lakh. For 8 children they got LIC scholarship of Rs 9600. Project have given 30,000 loan for economic activities.
